Blog 3: Childhood series


When you are a kid and you don't have many obligations, the most entertaining thing or what entertained me was watching my favorite TV shows.

Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and Jetix, which were the channels I liked the most, transmitted The Fairly OddParents, Pucca, Johnny Bravo and many other series that marked my childhood.

I particularly feel nostalgic when I remember Scooby Doo, because I was intrigued by the mysteries and the comic way of solving them, the friendship and companionship relationship I also remember very well, all of this made me a really big fan and have VHS of Scooby Doo and stuffed animals that I still keep to this day.

I even remember the day the Scooby Doo movie premiered in theaters, because I was very excited and I had never been to the movies in Copiapó, which was the city where I lived.

You can imagine how much I liked Scooby Doo in my childhood, then as a teenager I liked sitcoms more and now I am intrigued by police cases and I love to watch documentaries or movies related to the world of soccer.

My pet passed away 10 years ago, but I would like to talk about him. His name was Nick, for the TV channel Nickelodeon, which at that time I liked a lot, he was a German Shepherd, the story of how he came into my life and my family's, goes back to the summer of 2004, on vacation in the Coquimbo region, when on an outing to eat, we saw a van that had a sign that said: German Shepherds for sale, me being a child , I told my parents that I would like to have a puppy, they wrote down the contact number and we returned to our summer cabin, a week later my mother called the number and the person who answered gave the address of the farm, so we could go see the puppies. I was very excited, because it was the first time I was going to have a dog, we arrived and there were twenty puppies that looked at me so lovingly but I could only choose one. I honestly don't know why I chose Nick, I just know it was a good choice. He was so small, and so active, I remember he used to chase my rabb...
